Accelerating Proposal
Ready CVs at KPMG

My Role

During a 1-week internal KPMG hackathon, I co-ideated and designed TailorSwift, an AI-powered PowerPoint plugin that tailors employee CV slides to the context of a client proposal, together with Yumeng Li(Business Analyst), Lee Ye Min (Business Analyst), and Amitesh Chauhan (Tech Lead).

Responsibilties:

  1. Designing the end-to-end user experience of the PowerPoint plugin
  2. Vibe coding the technical POC, under Amitesh's guidance

Problem

At KPMG, employees faced inefficiencies in tailoring employee CVs for client pitches. Manual updates were time-consuming, and CVs lacked context-specific relevance.

The challenge

How might we use AI to dynamically tailor employee CVs to the context of a client proposal — without disrupting existing PowerPoint workflows?

Solution

Enter Tailorswift, an AI-powered PowerPoint plugin that:

Allows users to define purpose and keywords
Displays suggested improvements within the plugin interface
Uses OpenAI API to generate refined CV positioning

Outcome

A month after the hackathon, I was tasked to pitch the solution to 2 Partners at KPMG, Poh Jee Voo and Andrew Koh, together with Grégory FRANC and Yumeng Li. We received positive feedback from the partners and it was later repurposed for other use cases.

Grégory FRANC
Associate Director KPMG Digital Village
"...One standout moment was his performance during our AI Hackathon, where he brought a concept to life that received overwhelmingly positive feedback. That idea is now being repurposed for other use cases, a testament to Dwight’s creativity and dedication to achieving his goals..."
